WUTHERING HEIGHTS

Photobucket

WUTHERING HEIGHTS is the only novel by Emily Bronte, who died a year after its publication.

A brooding Yorkshire Tale of a Love that is stronger than death.
A story of love and uncontrollable passion, exploring the depths of sentiments down to the extreme conclusions that love can lead to, especially if it is strongly opposed.

I read the book. I don't know how I feel about it. I mean, it's a pretty good story but it takes a while getting into it and there's an unnecessary character (though he was my favourite) who is a sort of visitor to Wuthering Heights. I suppose I would recommend it, mainly because I have quite a bit of difficulty explaining it. In the end, I'm really more of a Jane Austen person than a Bronte Sisters person (not that you can't be both).
